• Our cultural life will blossom with the opening of the Alviso Adobe Community Park and the Firehouse Arts Center
• We're improving traffic control with new signal timing, intersection upgrades, and regional freeway improvements
  
• We are supporting our seniors by opening an assisted living facility, approving new senior housing, and improving existing facilities

Fiscal Responsibility

• We kept our budget balanced and increased our reserves by $1.5 million last year
• Our tax base is growing with expanding retail at Stoneridge Mall served by our new BART station
• Our reserves are healthy with over $110 million in long term investments

Public Safety

• Our fully staffed Police Department contributes to one of the lowest crime rates in the Bay Area
• The Fire Department is also fully staffed and we opened a new award-winning fire station
• We're helping build a regional system for first responders to communicate with each other

Parks & Open Space

• We've broken ground on Bernal Community Park with ballfields scheduled to open next summer
• The Iron Horse Trail extension has opened in Pleasanton and more segments are planned
• We are realizing the vision for a regional trail system in the Southeast Hills
